What to expect

Whether a bird lover, predator fan, or grazers admirer, Amboseli National park at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro won’t let you short of awe!

Amboseli is considered Kenya‘s biosphere reserve. The name Amboseli in Maa (Masai language) means place of water, and it reveals its true nature. In its swamps live massive herds of elephants and are likely to pose a show for you. Much other wildlife will reveal themselves – observe hippos, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, warthogs, buffaloes, wildebeest, and gazelles. Not to forget all the predators lurking around – lions, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas are likely to be seen. And more than 350 bird species, among them flamingoes, cormorants, storks, and ostriches. A full package, so to say. And with us achievable in only one day.
